Court Yard Hotel

Door Supervisor

The Moriarty Group is an Irish owned company, involved in both the retail grocery and hotel industries. The company’s portfolio consists of 3 large Super Valu, Stores in Balbriggan, Skerries and Palmerstown and two 4* hotels, the Courtyard Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare and the Bracken Court Hotel in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. The company currently employees 550 staff.

At the Court Yard Hotel, we are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Door Supervisor to join our in-house team. If you have the relevant qualifications (PSA Licence) and would like to develop your career within a busy property, we could have an excellent opportunity for you.

 

The Role:

The In-house door supervisor will work closely with the property management team on all aspects of the property’s security. 

 

Main Duties:

  • Provide a strong security presence within the property while on duty.
  • Work closely with the in-house management team regarding all aspects of security within the property.
  • Manager and co-ordinate the in-house security team.
  • Provide excellent customer care to customers/guests at all times while performing duties.
  • Responsible for conducting health & safety and fire checks within the property while on duty.
  • Carry out security checks of the external areas of the property while on duty including the carparks.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have a current (relevant) PSA Security license.
  • Must be fluent in the English Language both written and spoken.
  • Must have 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role preferably within the hotel/bar industry.
  • Must have a proven track record or co-ordinating/managing and security team.
  • Must have excellent customer care skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of fire safety and health and safety regulations relevant to the role
  • Must have strong people management skills.
  • Must have strong people skills.
  • Must have strong communications skills.
