Carpark Attendant

Carpark Attendant Opportunity at Moriarty’s Super Valu Skerries, Co. Dublin.

 

The Moriarty Group, is an Irish owned company, involved in both the retail grocery and hotel industries. The company owns three large Super Valu, Stores in Balbriggan, Skerries and Palmerstown and two 4* hotels, the Courtyard Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare and the Bracken Court Hotel in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. The company currently employees 550 staff.

 

The Moriarty Group of Super Valu's are 3 of the largest Super Valu stores in the Dublin area. We are currently seeking to recruit a Car-Park Attendant for our Skerries store. 

 

If you have experience in this area or would like to pursue a career in this area, we could have an excellent opportunity for you.

 

The Role:

 

This is a part-time position working approximately 30 hours per week/4-5 days over 7 to include weekends and public holidays.

 

Main Duties:

 

  • Provide service excellence to our customers at all times.
  • Overall upkeep of the carparks, ensuring that they are maintained in good order
  • Ensure that the carpark is being used by customers of the store only
  • Replenishing trolley bays
  • Assisting in other areas of the store if required

 

Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable but is not essential as full training can be given. 
  • Must be fluent in the English Language both written and spoken.
  • Must be enthusiastic and a quick learner.
  • Must be able to multi-task and be willing to help out where required in all areas of the store.
  • Must have excellent customer care skills.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Must be available for midweek day shifts, early starts, late finishes and weekends.
