Court Yard Hotel

Bar Server

The Court Yard Hotel is part of the Moriarty Group which is an Irish owned company involved in both the retail grocery and hospitality industries. The company currently comprises of 2 four-star hotels, The Bracken Court Hotel in Balbriggan, and the Court Yard Hotel, in Leixlip, Co. Kildare and also 3 Super Valu Stores, situated in Balbriggan, Skerries and Palmerstown, Dublin 20. The company currently employees 550 people across the group.

We are currently seeking to recruit experienced Bar Servers to join our professional and highly skilled bar service team. If you have the relevant experience, are passionate about the hospitality industry and would like to develop your career within a busy 4*property we could have an excellent opportunity for you.

The Role:

We currently have a number of full time and part-time/flexi positions available.  Full-times positions will require candidates to work 39/40 hours per week and part-time/flexi positions will require candidates to work 20-30 hours per week.  All positions will require the individual to be flexible in their roster availability and must be available to work early/late shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Main Duties:

  • Work in conjunction with the bar teams on the day-to-day operations of the beverage service departments of the hotel, which includes 4 mains bars, 3 smaller ones and functions & events.
  • HACCP duties.
  • General bar and lounge service duties.
  • Bar food duties.
  • HACCP duties.
  • Providing excellent customer care to our guests at all times.
  • Helping out in all other areas of the hotel when required.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a bar/beverage service role (this experience is essential). 
  • Must be HACCP trained.
  • Must be fluent in the English Language both written and spoken.
  • Must be enthusiastic and a quick learner.
  • Must be able to multi-task and be willing to help out where required in all areas of the hotel.
  • Must have a good knowledge of the bar/drinks industry.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Must be available for early starts and late finishes, weekends, and public holidays.
