The Irish owned Moriarty Group was established by Luke Moriarty in 1987 and currently consists of three large Super Valu supermarkets located in Balbriggan, Skerries and Palmerstown and two hotels, The Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan and the Court Yard Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare. Also included within the group is a property development company and a retail & commercial property investment portfolio.
Luke Moriarty, Owner and Managing Director of the Moriarty Group, began the company in 1987 when he acquired a Super Valu supermarket in Crumlin, Dublin 12, having worked as a supermarket manager for a leading Irish multiple. Now a family-run business, Luke Moriarty's three children are all involved in management roles within the company. His eldest daughter, Laura Moriarty also serves as a company director.
