The Moriarty Group is an Irish owned company involved in both the retail grocery and hospitality industries. Founded in 1987 the company employees over 700 people across both industries. The company's portfolio currently comprises of 3 large Super Valu supermarkets located in Balbriggan, Skerries and Palmerstown and 2 hotels, The Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan and the Courtyard Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare. The company currently employs 1100 staff and has been ranked in the top 1000 companies in Ireland.
Luke Moriarty , owner of the Moriarty Group, began the company in 1987 with the first SuperValu store in Crumlin. Several years later stores were opened in Palmerstown, Balbriggan, and Skerries. The Bracken Court Hotel in Balbriggan opened in June 2000 and was followed in 2005 by the opening of the Court Yard Hotel, Leixllip, Co.Kildare.
